Submissions

Regular Submissions: LATS2018 invites authors to submit an original, unpublished extended abstract (one to three pages long) or a full paper (six pages long). If accepted, full papers can be presented orally, and extended abstracts as poster. Paper submissions should be manuscripts in a standard IEEE two-column format. Authors should clearly explain the significance of the work, highlight novel features and describe its current status. All submissions have to be made electronically through the LATS2018 website. Detailed instructions for submissions can be found at the LATS2018 website. A submission will be considered as evidence that, upon acceptance, the author(s) will prepare the final camera-ready version of the paper in time for inclusion in the proceedings, and will present the paper at the conference.  The proceedings will be available to all participants during the symposium.

Presented papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The best papers of the LATS2018 will be invited to re-submit to a set of renowned journals:

  • IEEE Design & Test,
  • Journal of Electronic Testing: Theory and Applications - JETTA (Springer),
  • Journal of Low Power Electronics - JOLPE (American Scientific Publishers), and
  • IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems (TCAD)

Tutorial and Panel Proposals: LATS2018 solicits Tutorials addressing and discussing the challenges in topics of interest to the symposium and Panels discussing visionary and/or controversial issues. Proposals consist of an extended summary (up to 1500 words) as PDF file, describing the Tutorial/Panel content and format, and must be submitted electronically through the LATS2018 website.
